Payment Policies for Destination Trainings
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Reservations are initiated on receipt of either a full payment or a nonrefundable $500 USD deposit per client. The balance of payment is due 90 days prior to departure. If a reservation is made within 90 days of departure the entire cost must be paid at the time of confirmation. All reservations are automatically canceled if all payments are not received by the due date, including nonrefundable deposit.
CANCELLATION AND PENALTIES
All cancellations must be made in writing, signed by the client, and sent to trainings@alchemyofyoga.com for Yoga Teacher Trainings. All Yoga Teacher Trainings are subject to the following, per person cancellation charges based on the number of days before departure that we receive your written cancellation request.
• More than 90 days: Full Refund, Forfeit Deposit
• From 90 to 60 days: 50% Refund, Forfeit Deposit
• Less than 60 days: No Refund
• No refunds for unused tours, trainings or services
REFUNDS
All refunds will be processed within 45 days after we receive your letter of cancellation and are calculated as of the day we receive your written request. In the unlikely event that the destination training itself is canceled prior to commencement of the trip due to circumstances beyond our control, and you are unable to schedule for another time, all moneys are refundable with the exception of your personal trip expenses (e.g. non-refundable “advanced purchase” air tickets). There is no refund for any unused portions of a training once it has commenced.

Destination Training deposits are non-refundable. Please consider your circumstances, such as job stability, pet health, passport validity, immunizations, visa needs, relationship status, possibility of getting pregnant, etc, before placing your deposit for one of our programs. It is your responsibility to ensure you can attend the program before placing your deposit.
INSURANCE
Basic travel insurance that includes medical benefits is very recommended for each client. A comprehensive travel insurance policy including trip cancellation and interruption, baggage, accident, emergency assistance and medical assistance is highly recommended due to the uncertain nature of travel.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
By forwarding the trip deposit, the client certifies that he/she does not knowingly have any physical or other condition of disability that would create a risk for himself/herself or other trip participants. Any required innoculations must be recorded by the client’s health practitioner on a valid vaccination certificate which the client must carry in his/her possession during the trip. You should check with your health care provider for up-to-date requirements and personal recommendations for the countries you are traveling in.
AIRFARES
Airfares are subject to change without notice prior to ticketing. We are not responsible for any airline schedule and airfare changes, cancellations, overbooking or damage of loss of baggage and property. All claims for any loss or injury suffered on any airline must be made directly with the airline involved. Air schedule changes may necessitate additional nights being added to your tour. These schedule changes are beyond our control and any resulting additional costs must be borne by the client.
TRIP CHANGES
Alchemy of Yoga reserves the right to make alterations and substitutions to the training itinerary as necessary. In the event of large changes, we will always substitute an activity of equal or greater value for cultural events.
